Best Self Learn German Book
Combining german-learning resources. chances are, your teachers never made you work from just one book all year long. you had extra worksheets and readings (often pulled from other books), videos, audio recordings, or maybe even some online resources.your self-study attempts should take the same approach.. The best books to learn german may hold the key to your troubles, since they are easy to carry around during your travels, provide wonderful quizzes and offer educational tools for brushing up on german.. Hey, so what would you reccomend as the best books for german self-study, in preparation for attending language school/classes? i've been working with german in 10 minutes a day (good starter, easy to outpace), german verb drills, 500 german verbs, and a dictionary..
A couple of helpful books i've come across at my library are: "the everything learning german book" by edward swick and the living language cd with textbook. the everything learning book is particularly helpful in explaining grammar with many helpful examples.. A few possibilities to consider are german for dummies, the everything learning german book, language hacking german, teach yourself german, the complete idiot's guide to learning german. if you're looking only for a reading knowledge of german, i recommend german for reading knowledge , by korb (older editions are by jannach/korb).. This german book is an excellent reference for learning essential german verbs. the verbs featured are fully conjugated (in all possible forms), which i believe is the greatest value. if you practice memorizing these verb forms, you can use that knowledge to conjugate other german verbs..
